Dojo management for martial arts schools.

One app for the school, its students and their families: who is on the mat, how far each student has come, and what everyone needs to know this week.

Ascent is built around how a dojo actually runs. A school sets up its own ranks, classes and requirements, and the app follows them, whatever the style.

• Students

  The class schedule, a personal code to check in at the door, attendance history, and the syllabus for every belt alongside their own progress toward the next one.

• Families

  Each child's rank and membership details in one place, a say over changes to a child's record, the school's announcements, and control over who else in the family hears from the dojo.

• Instructors and staff

  The roster, class sessions and check-in, a lobby kiosk for scanning students in, ranks and curriculum, and announcements that reach people in the app, by email and by push notification.
